B1 – (CC) The Cougars scored two runs off of four straight hits. (CC-2, GU-0)
T3 – (GU) Two Yellow Jackets made it to home plate on a Cougar misplayed grounder. Graceland scored another run to take the lead. (CC-2, GU-3)
B3 – (CC) Junior Kenny Piper hit a solo-homerun to right field, his second of the season, to tie the game.  (CC-3, GU-3)
B4 – (CC) A passed ball from the Yellow Jackets' catcher gave Columbia the lead back. (CC-4, GU-3)
T5 – (GU) Back-to-back doubles from Graceland followed by a Columbia dropped fly scored two in. (CC-4, GU-5)
T6 - (GU) A dropped popup from the Cougars gave the Yellow Jackets the opportunity to score followed by a double that led Graceland to tack on two more. (CC-4, GU-8)
T7 – (GU) An error and a hit scored a run for Graceland. (CC-4, GU-9)

Hayden Ludwig hit a sacrifice-fly to right field to score Bealmer for the walk-off win.

An error and unintentional walk assisted in Columbia's four runs in the third to extend their lead to 6-2.
Individual Leaders Game 1
Josiah Imhoff and
Pharon Pilgrim struck out a combined six batters and allowed just five hits in  four innings. Delima had three hits in five at-bats with a homerun and had three RBI. Piper had two hits in four at-bats with a homerun and one RBI.

Reid Browning struck out seven and only allowed five hits in five innings of work while
Mark Haire struck out two batters and only allowed one hit in two innings of play.
Ward Mershon had a hit with two RBI and a run scored. Additionally, Piper had one hit and scored three runs.
