Box Score Conway, Ark. – The Cougars were on the road tonight for an AMC contest in Conway, Arkansas to compete in the Reddin Fieldhouse, home of the Central Baptist College Mustangs. Columbia fell to the Mustangs 82-64 and are now 18-11 on the season and 13-8 in conference.
The Cougars started the first half down by seven, but remained calmed and determined as they rallied through to trail the Mustangs by just one point before heading to the locker room.
Columbia had a hard time from the arc only making one of their eight attempts, a factor of their 18-point deficit. The Cougars kept pushing the fouls, but the Mustangs made nine of their last ten free throws to shut Columbia down and claim the win.
