Cougars Defeat Mustangs

Box Score Conway, Ark. – The 15th ranked Cougars traveled to Conway, Arkansas this evening to play against the Central Baptist College Mustangs in another AMC matchup. Columbia was victorious on the road defeating the Mustangs 76-61 and are now 24-5 on the season and 20-3 in conference.
 
Columbia went to work from the start getting the ten-point lead in the first quarter. The Mustangs kept up with the Cougars In the second quarter, cutting Columbia's lead to just one before the break.
 
The Cougars offense stayed strong in the final quarters and added a few more baskets than the Mustangs to increase their lead to 15-points to claim the win.

In the final three minutes of the first quarter, Columbia posted eight unanswered points.
