The Scoring Game 1
T3 (CC) – Jarett Newell hit a solo homerun, his first of the season, to get Columbia ahead. (CC-1, WBC-0)
T4 (CC) – Dalton Bealmer doubled to deep left while Justin Randle doubled to right field to score Bealmer. (CC-2, WBC-0)
B4 (WBC) – An Eagle hit a bomb off of Chris Wall. This is the first run Wall has allowed in five games. (CC-2, WBC-1)
T5 (CC) – Kenny Piper hit a two-run dinger followed by three more Cougar hits leading to a total of four runs in the inning. (CC-6, WBC-1)
T7 (CC) – A sacrifice fly from Ward Mershon allowed Braden Desonia to score one last run. (CC-7, WBC-1)
 
The Scoring Game 2
T1 (CC) – Columbia continued their momentum into game two of the doubleheader with three hits and a run scored in the first inning. (CC-1, WBC-0)
T3 (CC) – Piper tripled to deep right-center and then scored on an Eagles bobble. (CC-2, WBC-0)
T4 (CC) – Prebay made it to home plate on a hit by Newell. (CC-3, WBC-0)
B4 (WBC) – An Eagle hit a solo homerun to cut the Cougars lead. (CC-3, WBC-1)
T5 (CC) – A Déjà vu moment occurred when Piper once again tripled, this time to center field, and then scored on an Eagle error. (CC-4, WBC-1)
T6 (CC) – Four hits from the Cougars scored three runs and gave Columbia the six-run advantage. (CC-7, WBC-1)
B6 (WBC) – Two hits scored a run for Williams Baptist. (CC-7, WBC-2)
B7 (WBC) – Columbia had some trouble on the mound which gave the Eagles an opportunity to hit two and score a runner. (CC-7, WBC-3)
T8 (CC) – Williams Baptist also had some trouble on the mound which allowed a Cougar to score off a wild pitch. Columbia added to their advantage with four hits to score four more runs. (CC-12, WBC-3)
 
Turning Point Game 1
The Cougars had a strong fifth inning for a total of four hits, including a homerun, to secure the win.
 
Turning Point Game 2
A sacrifice fly plated a Cougar in the sixth inning followed by a solo homerun by Joshua Miller and a double brought another Cougar home to increased Columbia's advantage by six.
 
Individual Leaders Game 1
Chris Wall had the start on the mound pitching all 7.0 innings and only allowing one hit while striking out 10 batters. Piper and Randle led the way for Columbia each having 2 RBI and two hits while Piper also added a run.
 
Individual Leaders Game 2
Reid Browning was the starting pitcher and only allowed five hits while striking out 11 batters in 6.0 innings of play. Offensively, Columbia was led by Piper who went four-for-four with four runs scored and had an RBI while Kendrick Delima had three hits in six at bats and scored a run while collecting 3 RBI. Jarett Newell had two hits in four at bats and scored a run with 2 RBI to round out the leading scorers.

The Cougars will be back on the field tomorrow, February 29 to finish their three-game series against the Williams Baptist Eagles in a single 9-inning game starting at noon.
