The Scoring - Game 1
T1- (UHV) The Jaguars started the game on fire, posting three runs off of three hits and one error by Columbia. (CC-0, UHV-3)
B1- (CC) An error and three hits, including a two-run homer from Skyler Kauble gave Columbia back the lead. (CC-5, UHV-3)
T3- (UHV) Catcher's interference and a double by Emily Flores brought in the run. (CC-5, UHV- 4)
B6- (CC) Samantha Myers doubled to left and scored on Carli Buschjost's single. (CC-6, UHV- 4)
T7- (UHV) A pair of hits and a pair of errors tied up the game heading into the bottom of the seventh. (CC-6, UHV-6)
B8- (CC) International tie breaker rule had Skyler Kauble starting the inning at second base. After advancing to third on a sacrifice bunt, Kauble scored on a bobble by the third baseman for the game winner. (CC- 7, UHV-6)

The Scoring - Game 2
T1-(OLLU) A walk came into score off a double. (CC-0, OLLU-1)
B1- (CC) Columbia got to work fast with a bunt by Buschjost and two singles by Kauble and Meyer. Karolina Arbova's three-run homer was followed by a solo shot from Avgustina Arbova. (CC-6, OLLU-1)
B3-(CC) Karolina Arbova hit a home run over center field. (CC-7, OLLU-1)
B4- (CC) Kasarda's two-run double put down the third base line gave the Cougars another boost. (CC-9, OLLU-1)
T5- (OLLU) A two-out single plated one for the Saints. (CC-9, OLLU-2)

Game 1 Turning Point
Skyler Kauble hit her first home run of the season, giving the Cougars the 5-3 lead in the first inning.

Game 2 Turning Point
Back-to-back homeruns by the Arbova sisters in the first inning put the Cougars in the lead for good.

Game 1 Individual Leaders
Lexi Dickerson threw 6.1 innings before being relieved by Kaitlyn Nottelmann in the seventh. The two combined for eight strikeouts and just two walks. Columbia put up 10 hits, including three from Allison Keen and two apiece from Jacey Meyer and Samantha Myers.

Game 2 Individual Leaders
Nottelmann pitched five innings, allowing just three hits and posting five strikeouts before being relieved by Madison Ramsey who finished out the last two innings. Ramsey fanned four of the seven batters she faced. Karolina Arbova was two-for-three with two dingers, two runs scored and four RBI. Carli Buschjost,the Cougar leadoff, also posted two hits and scored a run.

The Cougars return to the field Saturday February 8th when they take on Texas Wesleyan University 9:00 a.m. and compete against Doane University at 11:00 a.m. in Portland, Texas to finish out their first weekend of play.
