Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College volleyball team won their fifth-straight contest with a 3-0 sweep over Central Baptist (Ark.) on Saturday morning.
With the victory, the Cougars (27-7; 7-1 AMC) become the first program in NAIA history to reach 1,400 wins.

The Cougars started on top, but would trade points with the Mustangs until midway through the set. The Cougars came in with a six-point run late and took the set with 21 kills (.395).
Set 2: Columbia 25 | Central Baptist 19
Cougars started the second set on fire with a six-point run. The Mustangs closed the gap to three (20-17) before Columbia rattled off the last five-points to take the set.
Set 3: Columbia 25 | Central Baptist 11
After an early five point lead, the Mustangs battled back, however the Cougars rattled off 15-points to CBC's three to take the set.
