Kansas City, Mo. – The Columbia College baseball team went 2-0 on Tuesday, defeating Avila (Mo.) and Baker (Kan.). Columbia is now 3-1 on the season.

Game 1 Individual Leaders
Conner Darnell got the win for the Cougars pitching one inning, allowing one hit. 
Brad Prebay produced three hits and one run for Columbia, while 
Kole Ficken hit a two-run homer generating two RBIs.
 
Game 2 Individual Leaders
Eight players combined for 16 hits for Columbia, lead by 
Dalton Bealmer and 
Justin Randle with three each. Bealmer added a team-high three RBIs. 
Josiah Imhoff got the win going one inning, not allowing a run and striking out two.
