Columbia, Mo. – The No. 17-ranked Columbia College women's soccer team picked up a critical American Midwest Conference (AMC) win against William Woods (Mo.) on Tuesday evening. The Cougars knocked off the Owls, 3-0. With the win, the Cougars are regular-season champions in the AMC and earn the league tournament No. 1-seed.
Columbia improves to 11-2-0 overall and 9-0-0 in the AMC, while William Woods falls to 7-2-0 and 7-1-0 in conference play.

Abigail Meyer scored the first goal in the third minute off a corner kick sent in by Natalie Peng.
Mallory Holzer found the back of the net in the 47th minute off another corner kick by Peng.
Jewel Morelan added the third goal in the 56th minute, assisted by Peng and Delfina Zolesio Fernandez Blanco.
