Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College women's soccer team claimed the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Soccer Tournament Championship with a 1-0 win over Missouri Baptist on Thursday night. This marks the sixth-straight year and seventh-time overall the Cougars have raised the tournament plaque.

The Cougars have earned an automatic bid to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Women's Soccer Opening Round, which takes place on April 15 and 17. The Cougars will host one of the ten NAIA Opening Rounds. Those teams and matchups will be released live on the NAIA Facebook page on Monday, April 12 at 11:00 a.m. CST
