Austin, Texas – College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) has announced that Kenny Piper has been selected to the 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-America® NAIA Baseball First-Team.
Piper, a Florissant, Mo.-native, is making his second CoSIDA Academic All-America team after earning a spot on the First-Team in 2019-20. In 2021, Piper hit .418 with 17 home runs and 49 RBIs. He finished in the top-10 nationally in three categories – No. 5 in slugging percentage (.915), No. 7 in chances per game (8.5), and No. 9 in total bases per game (3.1).
Piper is majoring in teaching and has a 3.78 undergrad GPA and a 4.0 graduate GPA.
