Conway, Ark. - The No. 14 Columbia College volleyball team wrapped up their weekend road trip with a 3-0 sweep over the Mustangs of Central Baptist College. The Cougars rolled to a 25-15, 25-12, 25-12 and remain unbeaten in American Midwest Conference play. With the win, the Cougars improve to 22-9 overall and 8-0 in AMC play.
The Cougars hit .389% in the match while holding the Mustangs to -.021%. Columbia led in kills (46-22), digs (40-34), and blocks (5-3)
Ellie Rockers led the Cougars with 10 kills while
Sude Gundogan followed with seven kills on a .417 hitting percentage.
Luisa Ferreira finished with 24 assists and 10 digs through two sets;
Vanessa Cantoni took the court in the third set and dished out eight assists with three digs.
Janae Johnson had a match-high .750 hitting percentage with six kills on eight attempts and no errors.
Gwendolyn Marino played two sets and hit .556% with six kills.
Magdalena Bostal picked up 10 digs, tying Ferreira for match-high.
