Conway, Ark. – The Columbia College softball ran its regular-season conference win-streak to 31-straight after sweeping a doubleheader against Central Baptist (Ark.) on Saturday.

Game 1: (21) Columbia def. Central Baptist, 6-4
The Scoring:

• T1 (CC): Emily King hit a sacrifice fly to left field, scoring Taylor Barnes (CC 1, CBC 0)
• T3 (CC): Avgustina Arbova added to the lead with an RBI single to center bringing home King. (CC 2, CBC 0)
• B3 (CBC): The Mustangs cut their deficit in half on an RBI double (CC 2, CBC 1)
• T5 (CC): Karolina Arbova scored on a fielder's choice from Skyler Kauble. (CC 3, CBC 1)
• B6 (CBC): An RBI single got Central Baptist back to within one run (CC 3, CBC 2)
• T7 (CC): A big inning for the Cougars started with two runs coming in on an error and was capped off by an RBI triple to right center from Avgustina Arbova (CC 6, CBC 2)
• B7 (CBC): The Mustangs fought back and scored two runs in their half of the 7^th, but fell short. (CC 6, CBC 4)

Inside the Box:

• Lexi Dickerson went six innings in the circle, allowing four earned runs on eight hits to earn her fifth win of the season.
• Madison Ramsey picked up the save against going one inning, striking out two and giving up just one hit.
• Avgustina Arbova went 3-4 at the plate with two RBIs and a triple.
• Athena Wheeler, Emily King, and Karolina Arbova recorded two hits each.
• Taylor Barnes had a stolen base.

• T2 (CC): Athena Wheeler followed with a three-run round tripper and was followed by an RBI triple from Karolina Arbova (CC 7, CBC 0)
• B2 (CBC): The Mustangs scored an unearned run in an error (CC 7, CBC 1)
• T3 (CC): Taylor Barnes recorded an RBI single, while Mackenzie Kasarda picked up an RBI on a sac fly. (CC 9, CBC 1)
• T4 (CC): The Cougars scored seven runs in the inning, highlighted by a three-run home run from Barnes (CC 16, CBC 1)

Inside the Box:

• Ella Schouten tossed a complete-game, giving up one unearned run on three hits and striking out four.
• Taylor Barnes and Karolina Arbova had four RBIs and Athena Wheeler had three.
