Columbia, Mo. – The No. 15 ranked Columbia College women's soccer team came up short in yesterday's matchup against No. 13 Indiana Wesleyan, 3-0.
Indiana Wesleyan's Mallory Krueger produced her first of two goals on the night three minutes into the contest, giving the Wildcats an early 1-0 advantage.
The Wildcats connected on another ball just before the half, extending their lead by two. Columbia produced five shots in the first half, with three on goal.
Krueger recorded the final goal of the match, assisted by Sarah Foulk with 48:02 on the clock, stretching the Wildcat lead 3-0.
Columbia documented two more shots on goal, but both were saved by Wildcat goalkeeper, Hope Stacker.
The Cougars return home on Saturday, September 3 against No. 22 Benedictine (Kan.) at 12:00 p.m.
