Rolla, Mo. – The Columbia College women's outdoor track and field season officially began today at the Miner Invite hosted by Missouri S&T.
Madeline Burton qualified for the NAIA Women's Outdoor Track and Field National Championships producing a first-place finish and personal record in javelin, throwing 42.73-meters. Burton currently ranks fourth in the NAIA.
Evelyn Roland also produced a college best in hammer throw, recording a 35.18-meter throw.
