Columbia, Mo. - Long-time Head Coach Wendy Spratt eclipsed the 1,000 win plateau today as the Columbia College softball team rolled past the Hornets of Harris-Stowe State University. In her 29th season as the Head Coach of Columbia College, Spratt's record now sits at 1,000-456. 

The Cougars dominated the Hornets in both games as they outscored HSSU 28-1 through ten innings of play. The two wins move Columbia to 12-15 overall this season and 7-3 in AMC play.

• Athena Wheeler led the team with five RBIs, while Abigail Pringer followed with three

Columbia is back in action tomorrow with another home AMC series at Antimi Softball Complex. The Cougars take on the Eutectics with games at 1:00 and 3:00.
