End of Season Recap: Women's Volleyball

Season Milestones:
The Columbia College women's volleyball team reached the quarterfinal round of the NAIA National Championships for the second consecutive year. The (#12) Cougars secured wins over (#19) Mount Vernon Nazarene University and (#6) Park University before falling to (#3) Eastern Oregon University in the quarterfinals.
The Cougars avenged their lone loss of the conference slate with an emphatic 3-2 win over #8 Missouri Baptist University in the championship game of the American Midwest Conference. The win gave Columbia its 23rd AMC Volleyball Tournament title.

  • Luisa Ferreira tied the AMC Tournament five-set match record with 59 assists in the championship game
  • Agatha Emanuelle set an AMC Tournament record with eight block assists in one game, also tying for the second most total blocks
  • Luisa Ferreira moved into second place for career assists at Columbia College with 6,191
  • Luisa Ferreira tied for third in career service aces at Columbia College with 199
  • Ellie Rockers moved into fourth place in career digs at Columbia College with 1,578
  • Luisa Ferreira moved into third place in career digs at Columbia College with 1,651
  • Magdalena Bostal cracked the top-15 in career digs at Columbia College as she is 14th with 959
  • Ellie Rockers moved into eighth place at Columbia College in career total kill attempts with 2,448
