Columbia, Mo. - The 10th-ranked Columbia College Cougars women's soccer team shutout the Jimmies of the University of Jamestown today to pick up win number eight on the season. 

The Cougars, now 5-0 all time against the Jimmies, move to 8-1-1 while Jamestown drops to 5-7. 

Columbia is back in action tomorrow with a conference contest at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy. 

Emma Cloud got the scoring started for Columbia as she converted a pass from Madeleine Shylanski that made its way across the box to Cloud who was in front of an empty goal for the easy put away. 

Jamestown finished the first half outshooting Columbia 5-4, but CC goalkeeper Alba Vigo had two big saves to keep the Cougars ahead at the half, 1-0. 

Early in the second half, Columbia played a ball into the box that ricocheted off of a Jamestown defender and into the back of the net for the own goal, making it 2-0. 

Five minutes later, Emilia Zolesio Fernandez Blanco took a corner kick that found Riley Porter in the box who was able to head the ball in, extending the lead to 3-0. 

Macie Lucas scored the fourth and final goal for Columbia as Delfina Zolesio Fernandez Blanco had the assist.
