Columbia, Mo. - The Columbia College women's soccer team remained unbeaten in conference play as they posted a 2-0 shutout over the Spartans of Missouri Baptist University today.
With the win, Columbia moves its winning streak to seven and is now 11-1-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play, making the Cougars the last unbeaten team in the American Midwest Conference.
The Cougars kept the offensive pressure on the Spartans from start to finish as CC out-shot Missouri Baptist 27-6 in the contest.

Delfina Zolesio Fernandez Blanco who took a shot from the side of the box that curved in on the back post, giving the Cougars the 1-0 early lead.
In the second half,
Emilia Zolesio Fernandez Blanco made an impressive pass to beat the Spartan back-line as
Riley Porter was able to convert, giving CC the 2-0 lead.
Columbia managed 17 shots in the second half alone, holding MBU to just three.
Natalie Allison earned her eighth win of the season in goal as she recorded five saves.
