Columbia, MO - The Columbia College volleyball team had its hands full tonight as they hosted the Pioneers of Crowley's Ridge College in the quarterfinals of the American Midwest Conference tournament.
After taking the first two sets by scores of 25-22 and 26-24, the Cougars finally found their rhythm and rolled in the third set to a 25-13 win.
Columbia picked up win #22 in the sweep as CRC ends their season at 9-16.
The Cougars now look towards the semifinals of the AMC volleyball tournament as they will matchup against the Stars of Stephens College on the campus of Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, Missouri on Friday, November 15th.
The Pioneers were held to just a .092 hitting percentage by the Cougars as CC totaled six blocks with 18 hitting errors also coming from the Pioneers.
