Columbia, MO - The Columbia College men's basketball team moved to 4-0 in conference play with the win over Williams Baptist University tonight at home.
Columbia dominated in the paint as they out-rebounded WBU 58-32, as the Cougars also totaled 25 second chance points to just two from the Eagles.
Although the Cougars led by 20 at the half, 44-24, the Eagles found their rhythm on offense in the second half and were only outscored 33-32.
Nine different players scored for Columbia led by
Collin Parker with 24 points and 12 rebounds.
Justin Boyer followed with 11 points and seven rebounds, while
Kai Steinman totaled nine points and four assists.
Seth Larson and
Tommy Hafer both finished with eight points each, with Hafer also grabbing eight rebounds.
The Cougars will play next on December 12th at William Woods University with a start time of 7:30PM.
