KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Columbia College softball team began their season today at the Spring 2024 Kansas City NAIA Softball Invite, moving to 0-2 on the season.

The Cougars dropped both games, falling 13-5 (5 inn.) to Baker (Kan.), and 8-0 (5 inn.) against Park (Mo.).

• Madysen Lucas and Suzanna Shanks each recorded a home run

Columbia will continue action in the Spring 2024 Kansas City NAIA Softball Invite tomorrow, Feb. 19 for a double header against Saint Mary of the Woods (Ind.) and Evangel (Mo.) Game times are set for 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
