HENDERSON, Tenn. - The (RV) Columbia College baseball team concluded action against No.25-ranked Freed-Hardeman University this afternoon, coming out with a 1-1 record on the day.
Columbia took game one 17-5, producing two big innings. Three of their 17 runs came in the seventh inning off back-to-back-to-back home runs from
Cayden Nicoletto,
Indy Stanley, and
Brayden McGinnis.
Indy Stanley added a career-best of six RBI, while
Pierce Hartmann notched a career-best of 10 strikeouts in the contest.
Columbia fell 5-4 in game two, as they put up a fight in the sixth inning, scoring four runs.
The Cougars move to 15-10 on the season.
