Softball Shuts Out Harris-Stowe, Schouten Produces No-Hitter

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Columbia College softball team concluded action in St. Louis today, earning two shutout wins against Harris-Stowe State (Mo.). The Cougars took game one 15-0, while taking a 22-0 advantage in game two.

Ella Schouten pitched her first no-hitter since 2/19/22 against Oklahoma Panhandle State, striking out 13 in game one. This marks her third no-hitter of her college career.

  • Tasia Green led the Cougars going 4-for-4 at the plate, driving in three RBI, adding a triple
  • Emma Bruno went 3-for-3, also knocking in three runs
  • The Cougars notched 14 hits and 12 RBI
