KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) have announced the 2024 Women's Basketball All-American Teams. For the first time in her career, junior forward
DeLaney Horstman has been named to the NAIA All-American Third Team.
Horstman led the Cougars in blocks (50), rebounds (353), points (486), points per game (15.2), and field goal percentage (47.6%). She brought down a school record of 21 rebounds against Ozark Christian (Mo.), while also tying a school record with 17 double-doubles on the season.
This season, Horstman was named First-Team All-Conference, All-Defensive Team, and was an Academic All-Conference recipient. She also picked up NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athlete honors and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® recognition.
