COLUMBIA, Mo. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) have announced the 2024 Academic All-America® Baseball Team recipients. The 2024 Academic All-America® Teams, selected by the CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field or court and in the classroom.
For the second time in his career,
Dan Fick was named to the Academic All-America® Baseball Team.
Dan Fick, Senior, Defiance, Mo.
- Achieved a 3.72/4.00 GPA in his Master's in Business Administration
- Made 14 starts on the mound, producing a program best 10-0 record
- Struck out 48 batters in 68 innings pitched
- In the 2024 season, Fick was named American Midwest Conference (AMC) Pitcher of the Year, All-AMC First-Team, Academic All-AMC, NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athlete, and CSC Academic All-District® recognition.
