COLUMBIA, Mo. - The No.10-ranked Columbia College women's soccer team suffered their first loss of the season on their home field against (RV) Campbellsville University (Ky.) this evening, 4-3.
The Tigers scored in the 21st minute, taking a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Campbellsville limited Columbia to three shots in the first half, taking seven of their own.
The second half turned into a scoring fest, as both teams secured three goals apiece.
Campbellsville added another goal 10 minutes into the final half, holding a 2-0 advantage.Â

In the 80th minute,
Riley Porter connected on a corner kick from
Delfina Zolesio Fernandez Blanco, also assisted by

Columbia continued to bring their grit as
Delfina Zolesio Fernandez Blanco secured a goal of her own just one minute later, assisted by
Madeleine Shylanski.
The Cougars held a 3-2 lead with less than nine minutes remaining in the contest, but that was not enough.
The Tigers found the back of the net two more times, once in the 84th minute, and the game winner with only 1:30 remaining in the contest.
Campbellsville went on to take the match, 4-3.
The Tigers outshot the Cougars 17-9.
