BOLIVAR, Mo. - The No. 10 Columbia College women's soccer team came out on top against NCAA Division II Southwest Baptist University (Mo.) this evening, 1-0.
Columbia improves to 4-1 on the season.
The lone goal came from
Macie Lucas in the 69th minute, assisted byÂ
Hannah Shylanski. Lucas netted her sixth goal of the season, and 44th of her career.
The Cougars outshot Bearcats 21-4, whileÂ
Natalie Allison secured three saves.
Columbia returns to action taking on No. 22 Mid-America Christian (Okla.) at home for the annual Meet at the Marv game on September 18. Kick off is set for 6:00 PM.
