Columbia, Mo. - Columbia College volleyball delivered a commanding performance on Monday night with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-20, 25-8) sweep over Hannibal-LaGrange University. The Cougars built momentum throughout the match, improving their conference record to 10-1 and overall record to 12-12.
Kenedi Canty led the offense with an impressive 10 kills on a .600 hitting percentage, while Samira Baltazar and Viola Giangreco each contributed six kills. Isabella Kincaid added six kills as the Cougars spread their offensive attack effectively across multiple players.
Hannah Vogt orchestrated the offense distributing 15 assists, while Alexa Olson added 14 assists in the winning effort. From the service line, Rita Marques, Lily Nelson, and Jillian Aholt each recorded a service ace to keep the Trojans off balance.
Defensively, Taylor Johnson anchored the back row with 12 digs, while Isabella Kincaid added nine digs. Nazarena Avila finished with two solo blocks and one block assist, helping the Cougars limit Hannibal-LaGrange to a -.090 hitting percentage.
The Cougars dominated the third set, holding the Trojans to just eight points while committing only three attack errors and hitting .267 as a team.
