Columbia, MO - Columbia College volleyball extended their impressive conference record on Tuesday evening with a 3-1 (22-25, 25-13, 25-12, 25-13) victory over Cottey College. The Cougars improved to 18-14 overall and 15-1 in conference play with the home win at Southwell Complex.

Kenedi Canty totaled 13 kills, while Viola Giangreco added 15 kills and Isabella Kincaid contributed 11 kills in the winning effort. Nazarena Avila was highly efficient with seven kills on zero errors for a .700 hitting percentage.
Alexa Olson orchestrated the offense distributing a career-high 35 assists with five digs, while Hannah Vogt added 18 assists and 10 digs in the winning effort. From the service line, Alexa Olson and Isabella Kincaid added a combined four aces.
Defensively, Taylor Johnson and Isabella Kincaid anchored the team with 21 and 18 digs respectively. Rita Marques added 14 digs in the back row. Samira Baltazar contributed on offense with seven kills.
The Cougars dominated statistically, hitting .220 compared to Cottey's .068, and finished the match strong with a .571 attack percentage in the fourth set.
