Shawnee, Kansas -
Jack Dunn's four RBI's led the Columbia College baseball team past Spring Arbor University in the final game of the road series.
Now 5-1 on the early season, the Cougars play next when they travel to Fayette, Missouri for the Heart/AMC Challenge February 15-16.
After three quick outs to start the game, the Cougars scored four runs with RBI's from
Chase McKague and
Jack Dunn to take an early lead heading into the second.
Both teams were scoreless until SAU singled to right field for an RBI in the top of the fourth.
Dylan Carlton responded with a double to left field, scoring
Brayden McGinnis. Dunn then hit another single to score Carlton to end the inning, putting Columbia up 6-1.
Spring Arbor would score one more run in the top of the fifth off of a Cougar error, but it would not be enough as CC's defense proved to be too much.
