Fulton, MO - The Columbia College baseball team opened their weekend road series against the Owls of William Woods University with two wins today.
After sweeping the day, the Cougars improved to 20-5 overall and 14-4 in conference play, while the Owls fall to 18-11 and 11-7 in league play.
Columbia now sits alone atop the American Midwest Conference standings after Missouri Baptist dropped a contest to Mission University yesterday.
The Cougars will wrap up their series tomorrow with a double-header starting at 1:00PM.
