Fort Wayne, IN - The Columbia College lacrosse team took on their third ranked opponent of the season tonight as they faced off against the 4th-ranked Warriors of Indiana Tech.
Marking just the fourth matchup against the Warriors in program history, the Cougars all-time record against ITU fell to 1-3 with the loss.
The Cougars got off to a slow start and found themselves down 6-0 at the end of the first quarter.
William Rusk and
Brock Pleis scored the first goals for Columbia in the second quarter, but the Warriors offense was too much for the Cougars as they out-shot CC 18-6 in the period.
Columbia netted three goals in the third and two in the fourth, but the Cougars would fall to the Warriors 24-7.
