St. Charles, Mo. - The Columbia College baseball team traveled to take on the Lions of NCAA Div. 1 Lindenwood University tonight. 

The Cougars scored first with a single from Bailey Quint in the top of the first, but the Lions scored three runs in the second to take the lead. 

Both teams scored in the fourth and fifth innings, but the Cougars were unable to cut the deficit and would fall by a score of 5-3. 

Columbia, now 31-6 overall, is on the road this weekend when they travel to take on Mission University in the four game conference series.
