COLUMBIA, Mo. - Closing out the regular season finale, the No. 21-ranked Columbia College baseball team posted two dominant performances today against Crowley's Ridge College (Ark.). The Cougars captured game one, 11-1, while shutting out the Pioneers 20-0 in game two. Columbia outscored Crowley's Ridge 31-1 on the day, while tying a team-high of 19 RBI on the season.
The Cougars improve to 39-7 on the season and sit atop the American Midwest Conference (AMC) standings with a conference record of 31-5.
Columbia heads into the postseason hitting .377 as a team, outscoring opponents 482-185.
