KINGSPORT, Tenn. - The No. 20/No. 3 seed Columbia College baseball team picked up a win over (RV)/No. 2 seed Cumerland University (Tenn.) in their first match up in at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Baseball Opening Round. The Cougars took a 5-1 advantage over the Phoenix.
With the win, Columbia improves to 42-9 on the season, remaining in the winner's bracket in the Kingsport Region.
