Baseball Season Recap

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Grabbing their third American Midwest Conference (AMC) regular season title, the Columbia College baseball team finished out the 2025 campaign collecting a program-best 43 wins and their highest ranking of #20 in the National Association of Intercolleiate Athletics (NAIA). The Cougars posted an overall record of 43-11 and an AMC record of 31-5.

Completing his ninth season at the helm of the Columbia College baseball program, head coach Darren Munns led the Cougars to a program-best winning percentage of 79.6.

Season Milestones
  • Earned a program record with 43 wins, while tying for the fewest losses in a season with 11
  • The Cougars produced program bests holding a batting average of .359, 518 runs scored, 142 doubles, 471 RBI, and 226 walks
  • On the mound Columbia achieved program bests limiting opponents to 138 walks and 400 hits allowed
  • Brayden McGinnis broke multiple program records with 51 career home runs, a slugging percentage of .933, while also tying the school record of 81 RBI
  • Owen Clark tied program best on the mound resulting in no losses this season (8-0) and therefore a winning percentage of 1.000
