Columbia, Mo. - The Columbia College Men's Soccer team fall to the John Brown University Golden Eagles 3-0 at home on Saturday afternoon. The Cougars drop to 2-4-2 on the season and John Brown moves to 6-2-1.Â
The match remained scoreless through the first half despite John Brown controlling possession. Goalkeeper Osman Naz kept Columbia in the game with three saves in the opening 45 minutes.
John Brown broke through in the second half with three unanswered goals. Amaury Jarry scored twice in the match as well as Gabriel Cabrera's goal in the 75th minute.
Naz finished with six saves in the loss, facing heavy pressure throughout the match.
Columbia will look to regroup as they prepare to face Culver-Stockton at home on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 7:00 p.m.Â
