Creve Coeur, Mo. – Georgia Pardalos set school single-game records for points and assists, and the No. 17-ranked Columbia College women's soccer team scored the most goals in program history in a 19-0 American Midwest Conference win at UHSP Saturday afternoon. Columbia improved to 7-1-3 (1-0-0 AMC), while UHSP fell to 2-2-1 (0-1-0 AMC).
The Cougars return home to host Central Baptist College in an AMC match on Senior Day, Saturday, Oct. 10, at noon at R. Marvin Owens Field.
Pardalos finished with four goals and six assists for 14 points, breaking the program record of 10 points set by Kelsey Mirts against Ottawa in 2019. Her six assists broke the previous mark of four, shared by Katelyn Palmer (2014) and Molly Klein (2019), and her four goals tied Klein for the second-most in a game in school history.
Columbia's 19 goals broke the previous program record of 18, set against Stephens in 2012. The Cougars' 53 points rank second in program history, and their 15 assists tie for fourth. Columbia also outshot UHSP 56-10, the third-most shots in a game in program history, and held a 31-3 advantage in shots on goal and a 10-0 edge in corner kicks.
The Cougars scored three goals in a span of 1:52 to open the game. Pardalos started it off at 3:21 off a feed from Rowyn Blanke, then set up Macie Vincent (4:11) and Blanke (5:13) for a 3-0 lead.
Ella Bredensteiner scored her 11th goal of the season at 10:17 off an Ava Lunders assist, and Bredensteiner returned the favor by setting up Pardalos at 12:26. Pardalos assisted on goals by Vincent (18:20) and Madison Lieberoff (29:40), and Delaynie Brown scored unassisted at 33:06 to send Columbia into halftime with an 8-0 lead.
Pardalos completed her hat trick at 49:58 on an assist from Vincent and added her fourth goal at 51:14 off a Blanke pass. Lunders converted a penalty kick at 61:23, and Pardalos picked up assists on goals by Lucia Brown (63:37) and Vincent (66:02), with Vincent's goal completing her hat trick.
Delaynie Brown scored at 66:43 off a Lucia Brown assist, and Columbia added an own goal at 69:30. Bleda Beto scored at 76:14 on a Lucia Brown assist, Delaynie Brown completed her hat trick at 80:56 off a Lieberoff pass, and Lucia Brown scored at 82:02 on an assist from Peyton Lee. Beto closed the scoring with an unassisted goal at 88:01.
Nine different Cougars scored, 10 recorded at least one point, and three players recorded hat tricks. Vincent finished with three goals, one assist and 10 shots. Her seven points tie for fourth in a single game in program history, and her 10 shots tie for fifth. Delaynie Brown's three goals off the bench were her first three of the season. Lucia Brown had two goals and two assists, and Beto scored twice.
Charlie Williams made three saves in the first half, and Abbie Summers played the second half to complete the combined shutout.
