COLUMBIA, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has announced the 2025-26 AMC Men's Basketball All-Conference teams, season award winners, Academic All-Conference team, and the AMC Men's Basketball Champions of Character Team.
The Cougars picked up four All-Conference awards including two First Team, one Third Team, and one Honorable Mention, while also naming 10 to the All-Academic team.
First Team All-Conference / All-Defensive Team
- Jemeal Goines (Senior l St. Louis, Mo.) - Averages 14.0 ppg. Leads the Cougars with eight double-doubles this season, a field goal percentage of 56.0 (second in the AMC), and with 9.1 rpg (second in the AMC). Totaled a career-high of 25 points against Harris-Stowe State University (Mo.) (1/10/26) and pulled down a career-high of 15 rebounds versus Mission University (Mo.).
- Caleb Jones (Senior l St. Louis, Mo.) - Leads the Cougars with 14.8 ppg. Conference leader for steals with 63 and ranks third in field goal percentage at 54.9. Posted a career-high of 24 points at Mission University (Mo.).
Co-Sixth Man of the Year / All-Freshman Team
- Max Rieger (Freshman | Kansas City, Mo.) - Averages 8.1 ppg. Posted a career-high of 20 points against Graceland University (Iowa).
Third Team All-Conference
- Johnny Anderson (Junior l Blytheville, Ark.) - Averages 12.0 ppg while ranking second on the team with 7.9 rpg and a free throw percentage of 78.9. Ranks top-five in the AMC in rebounds per game and free throw percentage. Picked up a career-high of 26 points against Missouri Baptist (12/19/25). Pulled down a career-high of 14 rebounds versus Harris-Stowe.
Honorable Mention
- AJ Walker (Junior | St. Louis, Mo.) - Team leader in assists per game with 3.7. Averages 9.1 ppg. Leads the AMC in free throw percentage at 87.2. Ranks second in the AMC in assists, dishing out 104. Saw a career-high of 19 points against Benedictine College (Kan.) and a career-high in assists with eight versus Missouri Valley College.
Academic All-AMC
* To be eligible for Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must be in their second semester at their AMC institution, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and finish the year on the team.
Jaiden Carrasquillo was named to the Champions of Character Team. Each AMC school selects a member of their team to receive the NAIA Champions of Character Award. It is the student-athlete who they feel best exemplifies the NAIA 's five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
