2025-26 Women's Basketball AMC Awards Announced

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has announced the 2025-26 AMC Women's Basketball All-Conference teams, season award winners, Academic All-Conference team, and the AMC Women's Basketball Champions of Character Team.

The Cougars earned five All-Conference honors — two First Team, two Second Team, and one Third Team — while also placing 15 on the Academic All-AMC Team.


First Team All-Conference
  • Lexi Miller (Senior | Macon, Mo.) - named First Team All-Conference for the first time in her career. Leads the AMC in three pointers with 81 makes and top-five with a 36.5 three point percentage and with 98 assists. Averages nearly 15 ppg, 3.5 apg, and 5.3 rpg. Leads the Cougars with 40 steals. Miller is tied for the Columbia College women's basketball record for career three-pointers made with 273. Scored a career-high of 30 points against the University of Saint Mary (Kan.). Saw a career-high of nine assists at Mission University (Mo.) (2/12/26).

  • Ashtyn Klusmeyer (Sophomore | Columbia, Mo.) - named First Team All-Conference for the first time in her career. Leads CC in scoring with 16.8 ppg and in free throw percentage at 86.8 percent. Ranks first in the AMC with a three point percentage of 40.9. Scored a career-high of 28 points against Missouri Baptist University (11/12/26).

Second Team All-Conference
  • Mya Miller (Senior | Mexico, Mo.) - Averages 12.4 ppg and 5.8 rpg. Leads CC with a field goal percentage of 55.5 while ranking second in the AMC. Scored a career-high of 24 points at Evangel University (Mo.).
 
  • Lexi Rubel (Graduate Student | Cape Girardeau, Mo.) - Averages 8.5 ppg. Leads the AMC with 135 assists, dishing out 4.8 apg. Leads CC with seven double-doubles, 230 rebounds (8.2 rpg) while also ranking in the top-five in the AMC. Scored a career-high of 16 points at Cottey College (Mo.). Brought down a career-high of 16 rebounds at Evangel.

Third Team All-Conference / Sixth Woman of the Year
  • Lauren Friedrich (Junior | California, Mo.) - Averages 9.6 ppg, 5.1 rpg, and 1.0 bpg. Ranks second in the AMC with a 40.6 three point percentage and top-five in block with 29. Currently sits at 69 three pointers this season, the eighth best in CC women's basketball history. Tied a Cougar women's basketball program record with eight three pointers in a game versus University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (2/10/26). Scored a career-high of 30 points against UHSP (2/10/26). Pulled down a career-high of 15 rebounds against Harris-Stowe State University (Mo.).

Defensive Player of the Year / All-Defensive Team
  • Tori Rubel (Sophomore | Cape Girardeau, Mo.) - Averages 5.2 ppg. Ranks second for the Cougars with 6.7 rpg and in total rebounds with 168.

All-Freshman Team
  • Macie Harman (Freshman | Cairo, Mo.) - Averages 6.7 ppg and 2.3 rpg. Posted a college-best of 14 points at UHSP (2/21/26).

Academic All-AMC
* To be eligible for Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must be in their second semester at their AMC institution, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and finish the year on the team. 


Emma Daniels was named to the Champions of Character Team. Each AMC school selects a member of their team to receive the NAIA Champions of Character Award. It is the student-athlete who they feel best exemplifies the NAIA 's five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
