Woodcock started his journey in the United States in Beatrice, Neb., playing his first two years at Southeast Community College. In 2010, Matt came to Columbia College and had two very successful years; winning one conference championship as well as reaching the NAIA national tournament in both years at Columbia.
Â
Starting in the 2013 season, Matt began his coaching career working for Cougar alum Sean Dooley at Baker University in Baldwin City, KS. During his time at Baker University, Matt was charged with developing and implementing skill development workouts, generating scouting reports, as well as recruiting student-athletes. Matt is eager to contribute his knowledge and recent experience of the game to the Columbia College program to continue the winning culture in men’s basketball.

Woodcock grew up in Sale, Victoria in Australia and attended Sale College before beginning his adventure to the United States. His mother Heather, father Peter, and sister Tegan will all be watching and listening to the Cougars online from Australia this season.
