2016-17: Appeared in all 33 games for the Cougars getting the start in 28 as a junior…Averaged 7.8 points per game and finished third on the team with 51 three’s…His best game of the season came against Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University on 2/16/17 where he scored 20 points.

2013-2016: Attended Truman State and Wabash Valley Community College... At Wabash Valley averaged 8 points per game and 2 assists per game... Shot 43% from the three point line... Member of the Wabash Valley Community College Honor Roll.

Prep: Attended Limestone Community High School... Scored over 1,000 points in career... Two-time All-Area and All-Conference selection... Second-Team Associated Press All-State senior year... Member of third place team at the Illinois Class 3A championships... Member of the Academic Honor Roll... Played AAU basketball for Team Illinois and Illinois Irish.

Personal: From Peoria, Ill., he is the son of Eddie and Stephanie Mathews... He has five brothers, Wil, Jake, Luke, Judd, and Charlie... He plans to major in Secondary Education.
