Jamie Holmes

Jamie Holmes enters her second year as a graduate assistant for the Columbia College softball team.

Holmes recently completed a two-year career at Columbia College, where she played a crucial role in helping the Cougars advance to the opening round of the NAIA National Championship Tournament for the first time in four years after finishing as the AMC regular season and tournament runner-up in 2014. Holmes received Academic All-AMC team for three straight years and was named NAIA Scholar Athlete. She was also named First Team All-AMC in 2013 and 2014, received the conference’s Newcomer of The Year, was 1 of 12 members selected to the District 5 College Division First Team, and was named Second Team All-Region in 2013. In 2014, Jamie was named the AMC Player of the year. In addition, Holmes received the MVP award in 2013 and 2014.

Prior to Columbia College, Jamie attended Crowder College in Neosho, Mo.

Holmes graduated from Columbia College in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. While at Columbia College, she will be pursuing a Master of Art’s degree in Teaching.
