Lippmann started her journey in the United States in Cheyenne,Wyoming, playing her first two years of college volleyball for Laramie County Community College. There, she was a two-year starting outside hitter, team captain, two-time All-Region player, two-time all-conference player, and two-time all-tournament team recipient. In 2015, Sofija transferred to Columbia College from Eastern Washington University. Here at CC, she had a very successful senior year as she was a member of the volleyball team that won the NAIA National Championship along with the AMC Tournament Championship.
Starting in the 2016 season, Lippmann began her coaching career as varsity head coach at Centralia High School. She was there from 2016-2022, where she garnered a 95-67 record; in the 2022 season, the team finished with at a 22-8 mark.Â
Lippmann is eager to contribute her knowledge and experience of the game to the Cougars' volleyball program to help continue the winning culture.Â
A native of Serbia, Lippmann graduated from Columbia College with bachelor’s degree in International Business and is currently working towards her Masters of Education .Â
She resides in Columbia with her husband Doug and four boys Carl, Lazar, and her 10 month old twins, Maksim and Viktor.Â
