Vesna Trivunovic

Vesna enters her third year as a member of the coaching staff for the Columbia College Volleyball team.

Trivunovic graduated from Columbia College with a degree in Business Administration. She played two years of volleyball at Columbia College where she was a standout athlete. Vesna, who made her debut in 2010, totaled 689 kills for the season giving her an average of 4.72 per game and ranking her sixth in single-season kills for the Cougars. In addition, she led the team in service aces with 77 and was fourth on the team in digs with 236. Vesna was named the American Midwest Conference Newcomer of the Year in 2010 and received first team all-conference honors while also being named All-American after falling to Fresno Pacific (Calif.) University in the championship match. Trivunovic also collected American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Midwest Region Newcomer of the year and first team honors.  During her senior season, Vesna led her squad to a third place finish at the NAIA National Championships and logged a team high 526 kills in 43 matches for an average of 3.93 kills per set. She also led the team in aces with 62 and chipped in 33 blocks and 260 digs. She was named First Team All-AMC and First Team All-American for her efforts.

Prior to Columbia College, Trivunovic attended Lake Land College where she was Player of the Year and Regional Player of the Year.

While at Columbia College, she will be pursuing her Masters in Criminal Justice.
