Columbia, Mo. – The Cougar men's soccer team played their first scoreless double overtime tie this season against William Woods University. Columbia moves to 5-3-2 on the season and 3-1-1 in AMC play, while the Owls move to 8-1-2 and 3-1-1 in league play.
Columbia posted an 18-15 shot advantage in the match, including a 10-4 edge in shots on goal.
Daniel Ainsworth notched four saves on the night.
The Cougars will return home to host AMC foe Missouri Baptist University on Saturday, October 11
th. The game is set for a 3:30 p.m. start at R. Marvin Owens Soccer Stadium.
