Box Score St. Louis, Mo. – The Columbia Cougar volleyball squad recorded a three-game win over American Midwest Conference (AMC) foe Harris-Stowe State (Mo.) University tonight, handling the Hornets by scores of 25-8, 25-9, 25-8. With the win, Columbia, which is ranked No. 7 in the latest NAIA Top 25 rating, improves to 20-2 overall and 4-0 in conference action. Harris-Stowe drops to 4-11 overall and 0-5 in conference play.
Leading the effort for the Cougars was
Paula Rosa with nine kills and five aces.
Viktoriia Lavrenchenko and
Brooke Simpson chipped in with eight kills apiece while
Sarah Schwentker posted 24 digs.
Columbia returns to the court on Wednesday, October 1
st when they travel to St. Louis, Missouri to take on the Missouri Baptist University. Match time is set for 7:00 p.m.
