Hannibal, Mo. - The 12
th-ranked Columbia men's soccer team defeated Hannibal-LaGrange University 1-0 on the road this evening in their final game of the 2015 regular season. With the win, the Cougars improve to 16-2 overall and 11-0 in the American Midwest Conference (AMC).
The game remained scoreless until
Edin Campara found the net in the 53
rd minute of play to put the Cougars ahead 1-0.
Zachary Felz was credited with the assist on the goal. Campara's seventh goal of the season would mark the lone tally of the match, allowing Columbia to pull away with their 13
th straight win dating back to Sept. 14
th.
The Cougars outshot the Trojans 16 (eight on-goal) to four (three on-goal) for the match. Junior goalkeeper
Iain McTurk ends the regular season with a perfect 13-0 record and registered three saves in the game.
Columbia will be back in action when the AMC Postseason Tournament kicks off on Saturday, November 7
