Hannibal, Mo. - The 6^th-ranked Cougar Volleyball team defeated conference opponent Hannibal LaGrange University 3-0 (25-12, 25-14, 25-17) on the road this evening. The victory improves the Cougars to 22-7 overall and 9-1 in American Midwest Conference (AMC) play.

The Cougars finished with a 0.426 hitting efficiency and recorded 37 total kills. Polina Severina had 10 kills to lead the Cougar attack, while Eirini Chatziefstratiadou added nine. Mikah Simpson chipped in a game-high 11 digs and four service aces while Sashiko Heredia led all players with 35 assists.

The Cougar volleyball squad will return to the court Friday, November 6^th when they travel to Conway, Ark. to take on conference foe Central Baptist College. The match time is set for 5:00 p.m.
