Columbia, Mo. - The 12
th-ranked Cougar men's basketball team earned the regular season series sweep of Harris-Stowe State University with an 86-51 road victory on Thursday night. With the win, Columbia improves to 21-4 on the year and 14-3 in the American Midwest Conference (AMC).

Zach Rockers knocked down a shot in the paint to put Columbia up 29-18 at the 5:44 mark. Columbia would maintain the lead over the remainder of the half and take a 44-23 advantage into the locker room at halftime after outscoring the Hornets 15-5 to end the half.
Columbia maintained a sizeable lead throughout the second half and led by as many as 37 on their way to the blowout victory as 10 different Cougar players cracked the scoring column.
Zach Rockers led the balanced scoring effort with 25 points to go along with nine rebounds.
Jeremy Nolen was the only other Cougar to end the game in double-figures with 13 points. Columbia owned a 50-32 advantage on the glass and dished out 23 assists on the night, led by
Jobe Dillard with a season-high seven assists.
The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday, February 14
th when they host AMC opponent St. Louis College of Pharmacy. Game time is set for 4:00 pm at the Arena of Southwell Complex.
